Getting Started
It couldn’t be easier!
- Enter company information
- Enter employee and freelancer / contractor details
- Enter charge out rates
- Create office activities (non-chargeable stuff)
- Choose your preferred template for estimates, POs, invoices
That's all you need to do to be able to enter jobs, decide budgets, create estimates / POs and record time. It usually takes less than half a day.
To make accurate calculations in the Profit and Cash Packs, SumsUp also needs some historic accounts information. We can come in and do it for you, or your bookkeeper can do it if you prefer.
You can start using SumsUp at any time of year. It's up to you whether you want to spend the time entering in jobs and timesheets from earlier on in the financial year. Either way, SumsUp is an instant operational tool and you'll be able to enter jobs from day one.
Training
We offer standard training sessions as part of the setup. We normally train two groups of five for a half day per group. This tends to be all most people need. The size of your business and different access levels might mean you need something different and we're happy to structure the training around what works for you.
Support
You get a printed or PDF manual explaining procedures and the software contains a help guide on every screen and a FAQ section.
If they don't answer your query our help desk is manned from Bristol during normal working hours, without a single recorded message and no complicated menu.
